John Tyler spared us a Hillary presidency

Andrew Jackson made the news this week, but John Tyler is the real hero. He was one of the least effective of the presidents, but 154 years after his death, Tyler prevented the election of the worst presidential candidate so far -- Hillary Rodham Clinton.

One of his last acts as president was passage of the law setting the date of presidential elections as "the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November."

'Tis an odd date, sure, but its oddity protected the nation on November 8, which is the latest a presidential can occur under this law.

We know this because Hillary told the Women for Women International’s annual luncheon in New York on Tuesday: “If the election were on Oct. 27, I would be your president.”

Hillary is on her I-accept-your-apology-for-not-electing-me tour in which she peddles her excuses to Marxist organizations and Marxist media outlets like CNN.

She told CNN on Sunday:
“It wasn’t a perfect campaign. There is no such thing, but I was on the way to winning until a combination of (FBI Director) Jim Comey’s letter on Oct. 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off.”
CNN did not dare point out that her own criminal behavior, as well as her rigging the nomination, led to those events.

But we can debate why she suffered the most humiliating defeat in American history -- outspending her opponent by a whopping $600 million -- until the cows come home and go out the next morning.

The fact is the election was on November 8, 2016, and not 12 days earlier.

Thank you, John Tyler, for saving the Republic, 154 years after you died.

By the way, Trump commissioned a presidential painting before he was elected. He knew the election was November 8, not October 27.

Meanwhile...
On November 8, 2016, the American people said, "Trump the Establishment!"

Now read the book that explains how and why the press missed this historic the election.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.

And then read the original, "Trump the Press," which chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

  1. Personally, I don't think Hillary ever had a chance of winning. Folks just clammed up on the pollsters. Their questions are unscientific and misleading at best, so people just kept their opinions and political leanings to themselves. That is, until Election Day. - Elric

    1. Agreed. My family lives in the Appalachian coal/steel belt in SW PA, SEPTEMBER OH, and WV's northern panhandle. The idea of my uncles taking a poll after working in the mines and the mills all day is ludicrous. And on Election Day, they voted for Trump.

  3. It never ceases to amaze, the cult of personality that follows the Clintons thru their lives.

But look at the fruit borne by this Cult. look at the QUALITY of Hillary's Followers.

It takes a special kind of loser to get sucked in. Thank you, US Education System.

    1. Is it legal to use the word sucked in a Clinton article? If so, Monica should get a small royalty.

    2. I think that royalty was on the dress.

  4. Comey basically cancelled her Vagina Resistor tour and coming failed manuscript today.

Amazon is already showing a one star from redit users.

(I think we're all related to the Tyler's in some unknown cousin way)

  6. And two of John Tyler's grandchildren were around to witness this fantastic result. Tyler was born in 1790 yet still had two living grandkids!!!

    1. I was about to mention that fact when I noticed you'd picked up on it. Grandkids still alive is pretty amazing when put in a chronological context.
Tyler's son was a randy old boy to say the least!

  7. The biggest problem with Hillary's campaign is that it had Hillary in it.

  8. When a party has a challenger who is the most liberal communist on the continent and folks can't tell them one from the other as far as positions go, you have a problem that Houston can't fix.
As for holding the election on October 27, I seriously doubt millions of people grew new functioning brains in that short span of time. Maybe one cell or two.
