A failure calls Trump names

This post is not about Hillary's speech at her alma mater. Not worth my time mocking.

No, this is about John Boehner whose brief tenure as Speaker of the House was marked by no significant legislation, and a failure to reach out across the aisle to the Tea Party that made him speaker.

From the Associated Press:
Speaking at an energy conference on Thursday in Houston, Boehner praised Trump for his approach abroad and aggressiveness in fighting Islamic State militants.
That's according to the energy publication Rigzone.
The Ohio Republican says, "Everything else he's done (in office) has been a complete disaster." He says Trump is still learning how to be president.
Even pedophile Dennis Hastert was able to do something as speaker. He balanced the budget.

Like Paul Ryan, Boehner was a pawn of a Washington Establishment that wanted to acquiesce to liberals while feigning a fight.

The full story from the oil-and-gas industry publication revealed a backstabber.

From Rigzone:
Boehner said he’s been friends with Trump for 15 years, golfed with him and even said if he was having a bad day, Trump would be the first person to call and check on him or offer a pat on the back.
“But president? I just never envisioned him in that role,” he said and also suggested that Trump not be allowed to tweet overnight.
Still, when asked what he thinks Trump’s done well in his first 100 days in office, Boehner said he’s done well with international affairs and foreign policy. In regard to national security, international leaders are thrilled to death that Trump is aggressive about fighting ISIS and getting more boots on the ground to do so, he said.
Boehner said Trump “did what he could” with healthcare, but never subscribed to the idea of ‘repeal, then replace.’ Instead he should have worked to ‘repair’ Obamacare.
“Everything else he’s done [in office] has been a complete disaster,” said Boehner. “He’s still learning how to be president.”
Disaster.

If only Boehner were as tough on Obama.

To think, I once defended him.

On November 8, 2016, the American people said, "Trump the Establishment!"

Now read the book that explains how and why the press missed this historic election.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.

And then read the original, "Trump the Press," which chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback

  2. What do you mean "was"? Paul Ryan is STILL "a pawn of a Washington Establishment."

  6. Trump's tweeting is what gets him past the blockade. If he never tweeted that he had been "wiretapped" there would not be any talk, as limited as it has been, of Obama's spying on American citizens. Those who want to shut him up want to keep all of that rottenness secret.
