Unions exploit illegal aliens, too

Malibu voted to become a sanctuary city -- a rogue town that defies federal law.

Sure, those hypocritical limo liberals like Barbra Streisand do not want top lose the illegal aliens they exploit to work for below-market wages and benefits. It is a reminder that the last states to openly defy federal government were slave owning states, who also exploited the unprotected.

In another sanctuary city run by limo liberals -- New York City -- comes the tale of how the fat-cat union bosses at the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union exploited illegal aliens.

For decades, the unionized Tom Cat Bakery in Queens knew the company hired and exploited illegal aliens.

Sure, why not?

More union dues.

But now that President Trump is running a law-abiding administration that cracks down on such exploitation, the union is crying foul. The New York Daily News -- in a story that made far too many puns about bread-winner and the like -- detailed how the Trump administration discovered this scofflaw company preyed on illegal aliens, and forced the company to drop 15 workers who are illegal aliens.

The union is now seeking better severance pay for these lawbreakers.

From the New York Daily News:
Alejandro Teutle officially became unemployed Friday after he could not provide proper paperwork about his immigration status.
He and about a dozen others are working with the advocacy group Brandworkers, fighting for a better severance package.
Currently, Tom Cat is offering one week’s pay for every year of service, plus cashed-out sick, holiday and vacation days, and health care for 90 days, according to the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union, which has represented the endangered Tom Cat employees since the crisis arose.
“What they offered was crumbs, and we deserve more,” said Teutle, who relied on his salary to provide for his boy, as well as his parents, two sisters and a brother back in Mexico.
If Tom Cat were non-union, the union would be cheering this outing of illegal alien workers.

By the way, why are we not deporting them?

I trust the fines on the company will be heavy, and that it will be inspect again and again until we are sure it no longer uses illegal labor.

The original, "Trump the Press" chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.
Then came "Trump the Establishment," covering the election, which again the media missed.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.
