Susan Rice cancels public appearance

There was fallout this weekend from the pending criminal investigation of Susan Rice for her role in Barack Obama's illegal espionage of President Trump.

Just a few hours before her scheduled appearance on Saturday before the Greater Rochester Area Branch of American Association of University Women, Rice canceled her speech.

Cheryl McKeiver, a financial adviser and developmental vice president of the club, explained to the press:
"GRAB of AAUW was very much looking forward to hosting Ambassador Susan E. Rice in Rochester to inspire young women who are soon to embark on their chosen careers.  Unfortunately, we regret that we must cancel the conference originally scheduled for Saturday, April 8, due to a ticketing error. We apologize to the many young people and members of the Rochester community who were planning to attend tomorrow, and we look forward to welcoming Ambassador Rice, who has graciously offered to speak to our organization in the coming months.”
McKeiver forgot to add: if she is not indicted.

The chapter scrubbed any mention of Rice from its web site.

The Daily Caller on Monday broke the story of Rice's role in illegal spying on President Trump during his election campaign.

From the Daily Caller:
Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.
“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.
Rice then went on Andrea Mitchell's show to issue a non-denial denial:
Update: In response to a question Tuesday from NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell,  former Obama White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice denied that she “prepared” spreadsheets of surveilled telephone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides. The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group, however, reported that Rice “ordered” the spreadsheets to be produced.
In addition, former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova, one of The DCNF’s sources, said Tuesday in response to Rice that her denial “would come as quite a surprise to the government officials who have reviewed dozens of those spreadsheets.”
So the question remains whether she ordered the spreadsheets.

The original."Trump the Press" chronicled and mocked how the media missed Trump's nomination.

It is available on Kindle, and in paperback.
Then came "Trump the Establishment," covering the election, which again the media missed.

  1. I wonder what the "ticketing error" was. My first guess is that a number of deplorable people somehow acquired tickets. That would qualify as a "ticketing error", right?

  2. Have you ever been to Rochester since Kodak went bankrupt? Really, no reason to go there.
And she is a fugitive, don't want her so close to a border.

  3. Ask yourself, which has the bigger penalty.

Taping you superior giving you order to wiretap Presidential candidate Trump?

    Or "ordering" the wiretapping yourself?

Lotta people gotta be making that calculation about now.

  5. Romney had binders, Rice has spreadsheets.

  6. Something tells me those spreadsheets had nothing to do with Russia. Or any investigation at all.

    1. The completely believable and hilarious part of the "spreadsheets" is that she is too stupid and lazy to put that together herself. Just asking for a few "unmaskings" here and there would not have necessarily been noted. But she goes whole hog and orders an underling at another agency to do her timeline, charting, and schematic for her which of course tells them what the heck she is doing. AND she leaves a trail on national security COMPUTERS.

  7. The rest of the Obama cabal have gone underground so Rice finally took the hint. Their brilliant and busy, honored and financially lucrative post presidential retirements are not working out. Instead of conferences, commencement speeches, paid gigs doing blah, blah, board directorships, etc they get to hire lawyers and schedule meetings with them.

  10. So this outfit that Rice was supposed to speak of is "GRAB American Ass. of University Women?"

I seem to recall that someone got into trouble for merely talking about that, but now there's a whole organization of them?

My, my! That's "progress" for you!
