NYT reporter has Easter egg all over her face

Julie Davis is "Covering the White House for The New York Times," according to her Twitter account.

Her boss should tell her to quit tweeting because in one tweet today she showed enough ignorance and bias to permanently disqualify her from covering the White House.

Davis tweeted: "Forget those silly pastel/rainbow colors of White House Easter Egg Rolls past; Trump's Easter eggs will be GOLD."

Thus she gave a perfect example of why no reporter should be on Twitter or Facebook because this only allows the whole world to see how biased, prejudiced, and bigoted some of them are.

Richard Grenell, among other things national security spokesman for Mitt Romney in his 2012 campaign, caught Davis's ignorance and bias, and tweeted: "When you erroneously attack Trump for the color of the Easter eggs, it's hard to take you seriously on your intel musings. Do journalism."

Had she done journalism, she would have found that last year Barack Obama's Easter eggs were GOLD.

  2. How easy she thought it would be to smear President Trump as anti-gay. But she blew it, really blew it. Pure gold.

  3. I haven't seen an apology. She tweeted some words strung together as phrases and sentences, but I haven't read an apology. <>< Linda

  4. You are showing your age, Don. You are old school.

Ignorance is not a disqualification for modern journalists. Journalism is now one of those magical careers where you can be consistently wrong about everything and not only keep your job but get promoted.

  6. Easter eggs? Really? Easter is a religious holiday. What is the White House doing celebrating a religious holiday? Hey! All you noisy kids! Get off my lawn! And take your bunnies with you!

  8. I wonder how easy it would be to prank the NYT or the WaPo into thinking that Trump was going to put the Ford Nucleon into production?

  9. It's middle school all over again for liberal reporters.

The motivation is so transparently childish: t's a race to be the snarkiest so all the cool kids notice.

Then they pretend to be objective grownups with their reporting. Too late for that. The mask has dropped.—Burnsie

  10. Who ever said you had to have a brain to be a reporter? The fact that a few do, and these days it's very few, is a miracle.
