Trump seems to be quite popular in Israel. pic.twitter.com/0U9SGQznvO

Thanks for the explanation. I'd never have gotten it. (Not that I'd care.)
I think the Raiders fan remark is a joke. Dayan wore an eye patch.
Go right to bed, Don; the morning comes early.
Moshe Dayan was a Mensch. He screwed up though in giving back the Palestinians the Temple Mount.
Other than Jimmy Carter, any president is likely to be more popular in Israel than Obama.
Just win, baby! (Al Davis, former Raiders owner)
BTW, Big D, congrats on clearing the five mill hit mark! Like I've been saying...Surberites are the new cool kids on the block now...
Moshe Dyan was a legend even in Rhodesia after the Six Day War. Taking a town almost single handed by driving in like he owned the place. The enemy assumed he had them surrounded if he did that. There was a former British Army major in our town who had served in North Africa and the Palestinian Mandate who said that toward the end of the British occupation they had Israeli soldiers assigned to them and they had to keep them confined to barracks at night because they would go out and kill Arab soldiers. They'd lock them in, but give them a revolver with six cartridges for self defense if they were attacked. One morning there was a report of six Arabs having been killed and one of the guys in his barracks had an empty revolver when it was checked. He swore the guy's name was Moshe Dyan, but that he had two eyes. They never figured out how he got out that night, so charges were never brought.
Gotta love them Israelis. They don't mess around. Ariel Sharon was a real go-getter, too. - Elric
Moshe Dayan is the greatest Israeli general since King David. For Donald Trump to get that recognition means a whole lot.-Mikey NTH
