Obama's crime wave shows 5.2% jump in murders

The FBI just showed the bill for President Obama's embrace of BLM (called Black Lives Matter, but originally known as the Black Liberation Movement).

From the FBI:
All of the offenses in the violent crime category—murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape (revised definition), rape (legacy definition), aggravated assault, and robbery—showed increases when data from the first six months of 2016 were compared with data from the first six months of 2015. The number of aggravated assaults increased 6.5 percent, murders increased 5.2 percent, rapes (legacy definition) increased 4.4 percent, rapes (revised definition) rose 3.5 percent, and robbery offenses were up 3.2 percent.
Violent crime increased in all city groupings. Among cities, violent crime rose the most over the previous year (9.7 percent) in those with populations of 1,000,000 and over. In cities with populations from 500,000 to 999,999, violent crime increased 5.2 percent, and in cities with 250,000 to 499,999 inhabitants, violent crime was up 4.3 percent.
Violent crime increased 6.3 percent in metropolitan counties and rose 1.6 percent in nonmetropolitan counties.
Violent crime increased in all four regions of the nation. These crimes were up 6.4 percent in the West, 5.9 percent in both the Midwest and in the South, and 1.2 percent in the Northeast.
Black people and men are disproportionately the victims of violent crime.

Because of BLM's success in undermining police efforts to combat crime, more young black males are dying than before. What a horrible legacy.

Please read "Trump the Press," in which I skewer media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.

It covers the nomination process only. The general election will be covered in a sequel.

  1. According to FBI statistics, average annual number of police officer fatalities under Reagan was 189. Under Obama: 135.
Violent crime rate was 40 percent lower in 2014 than in Reagan's final year of office.
Robbery, regarded by experts as a better bellwether than murder of a community’s overall safety, has declined sharply since the Reagan years—from about 518,000 cases in 1987 to 326,000 in 2014, a decline of more than 50 percent when adjusted for the country’s 30 percent population growth over those 27 years.

    Damn stats.

    1. The strength of Obama was that he was able to overcome a decades long trend and actually have more people murdered under his watch that was expected. Finally able to exceed expectations. Let's give credit where credit is due.

Expected by whom? Cite source please. And no, the voices in your head do not count as credible sources. Absurd post.

  2. The rise in violent crime is not a bug, it's a feature. Why do you there is a higher percentage of black abortions? It seems they are intentionally self-destructing. - Elric
