(In Gomer Pyle voice) Citizen's Impeachment! Citizen's Impeachment!

A seat at the White House press briefing is a thing of value that the New York Times believes it is entitled to.

He writes for the New York Times.
He doesn't.

How does Bush's Spicer see it?

The press does not trust the Trump White House and Sean Spicer so much that they are angry they cannot ask him questions first.

Please read "Trump the Press," in which I skewer media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.

It covers the nomination process only. The general election will be covered in a sequel, "Trump the Establishment."

  1. They have been negligent in their duties for the past eight years. So it's too late to be demanding anything. Suck it mammerjammers.

  2. The NY Post is the new top dawg in the Apple. Great columnists, funny, iconoclastic. Get with it, lame streamers.

  3. The Post didn't endorse him but at least it has been rational and in Manhattan too where he got about 8% of the vote. Maybe Murdoch was too ashamed to have all his print media appear to be slathering at once to collect on his HC "investment" as one of the Dem operative lice called her campaign today.
What is the point of press questions anyway? The corporate slave who is asking has no interest at all in an informative answer. He wants to embarrass Trump in some way hoping to get a splendid new collar as a reward, be the envy of his friends, sit at his master's feet, like say Maureen Dowd of the NYT who reported to her fans that She was sitting next to the NYT's Actual Publisher when they confronted the Red Beast in his lair following the election. Perhaps they remember trivial serf David Gregory who rose from hoeing clods to peer prominence by trashing GW to his face at a presser, ended up boss of Meet the Press as a reward, well at least for awhile. Trump should treat them with contempt, even as he does them a service by doing so. The truth is they not only deserve it but hunger for it too. As Tacitus sort of said, contempt from the Prince is recognition and much to be valued.

  4. If I were Spicer, I wouldn't take a single question from the NYTimes, WaPo, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, or MSNBC for the next 4 years. Not a single one.

  5. So FOX is not top drawer? Sounds like someone channeling Obama. Interesting to see he called on Univision.

  6. Will he take a question from Don Surber calling in from Poca, there's the rub.

    1. And there may be Skype seats in future pressers, so Don can ask a question from home while he's in his pajamas. Yo, Don, here's your chance to go national...even global.

  9. One day, those former doyens of the White House Press Corps may again dare to dream of a front row seat.

Like that currently being occupied by the Flyover Hog-Breeders and Fertilizer Gazete.

  10. Spicer should troll them by explaining he was "saving the best for last".
