Oh please do. The chasing of their own tails will help President Trump as the media and the hack politicians show themselves to be worthless Chicken Littles.
The gullible media is convinced the Яussians -- not the American people -- elected Trump president.
Consider this report on Brian Stetler hosting fellow journos Liz Wahl and Julia Ioffe on CNN on Sunday. Stetler is supposed to be a media critic. Instead he bashed President Trump.
Stelter implied that Trump’s impending presidency is a national emergency.
“That is the ultimate goal [of Яussian ‘disinformation’], to undermine democracy, to undermine faith in our institutions, like the media,” Wahl told Stelter. “We have a president-elect now who has basically matched some of these key talking points in Яussian propaganda to undermine our system.”Thus CNN stated as FACT that Яussia won the election for Trump.
Based on what?
Mewlings from the White House?
WikiLeaks said a DNC insider revealed thousands of emails that showed the DNC in a bad light.
Oh wait, the press is saying a CIA source said it was the Яussians. And the CIA is controlled by what president again?
This is the same CIA that said there were WMD in Iraq and that Karl Rove exposed Valerie Plame as being an employee of the CIA. Both proved false.
Rather than question all this, Stetler, Wahl, and Ioffe swallowed this absurd tale with the gusto of Linda Lovelace just as the press swallowed Tawana Brawley, Crystal Magnum of Duke lacrosse fame, and Rolling Stone's Jackie -- all of whom said they were gang-raped and none of them were.
Instead of spending an hour reflecting on how the media blew the story of the year, these brainiacs believe the Яussians stole the election because the Obama administration told them so:
Either Stelter believes that the Electoral College's working in the precise manner in which it was designed is a national emergency, or he believes that the fact Trump was able to win despite the nonstop barrage of mainstream media propaganda is a national emergency.
The latter certainly appeared to be Ioffe's position. "I feel like we've been reporting on this all along but … people don't read us," Ioffe noted before attacking "fake news" — progressives' hot new term for anything that challenges their approved ideological narrative. "We're writing about it but, A) people aren't listening and, B) they don't believe us."Oh let us review Ioffe's work -- her warnings -- this year. It amounted to her going to Slovenia to diss on Melania Trump's rots for GQ. Mirjana Jelančič, who said she was a classmate of Trump's wife, gave Ioffe some dirt:
Jelančič remembers Melania’s father, Viktor, spending every Saturday lovingly washing his antique Mercedes, another rarity. “It was like a ritual,” Jelančič tells me. After leaving his job working for the mayor of Hrastnik, Viktor, then a member of the Slovenian Communist Party, became a salesman at a state-owned car company. Police files from the time indicate Viktor aroused suspicion for illicit trade and tax evasion in 1976. (He was charged with a tax offense, though his record was later cleared on account of Slovenia’s statute of limitations, a process the courts described to me as “legal rehabilitations.”) Melania blocked my efforts to speak to Viktor, and she denies that any such investigation took place. “He was never under any investigation, he was never in trouble,” she snaps. “We have a clean past. I don’t have nothing to hide.”Oh, and Daddy Viktor had a child out-of-wedlock about five years before Melania was born.
Ioffe filed a police report in Washington, SC, claiming she suffered anti-Semitic death threats.
She also wrote for Foreign Policy, "Is Trump a Яussian Stooge?" on July 25:
First, there was the Saturday piece by Josh Marshall in Talking Points Memo, alleging the following:
“At a minimum, Trump appears to have a deep financial dependence on Russian money from persons close to Putin. And this is matched to a conspicuous solicitousness to Яussian foreign policy interests where they come into conflict with US policies which go back decades through administrations of both parties. There is also something between a non-trivial and a substantial amount of evidence suggesting Putin-backed financial support for Trump or a non-tacit alliance between the two men.”
Then, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook did the Sunday morning talk show circuit, telling everyone that the DNC hack n’ dump was done by the Яussians to hurt Hillary and help Trump. “I think when you put all this together, it’s a disturbing picture, and voters need to reflect on that,” he told Jake Tapper. So she offered as proof a lefty blogger and Clinton's stooge.
You know what that tells me?
She's an idiot.
And Foreign Policy is run by idiots for running her piece.
This is Fake News.
CNN is a fraud.
And Stetler is a fool. And a lazy one at that. Not every member of the press is stupid and lazy, but enough are that it paints an occupation that does not know what it is doing. Little leaguers trying to play in the majors.
President Trump has played them for the past year-and-a-half, and they are too stupid to learn.
Some of them.
Enough of them to warrant this prediction: Trump wins re-election.
Have a little fun. Read "Trump the Press," in which I skewer media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.
