President Trump has a mandate

After he clinched the nomination, things got rocky on occasion. I was ready to throw in the towel a dozen times, but readers were there for me. And I trust I was there for you when you thought things looked bleak. In the end, we knew the polls were baloney, just as biased as the reporters and editors. We did not let them dissuade or discourage us.

On Tuesday, the people spoke. Michael Moore was right. It was the biggest F*** You in history. It was the bird flip seen around the world.

Why did we get it and not the news media?

1. We were not courted. Hillary and her henchmen did not spend the last two decades grooming us like they did the media. She didn't need us. Voters are disposable, tissues to be used and tossed aside. If you are not with her, you are garbage -- deplorable.

2. The Tea Party lives. No one uses the name anymore, but that is who we are. We have been through the drill several times. We saddled up again. And we will keep saddling up until we get the game changed.

3. Make America Great Again. Unlike the sniveling scribes were have not been indoctrinated into hating our country. We say the Pledge with our hands over our hearts and face toward the flag. We ain't the cool kids.

At the risk of repeating myself: It's the message, not the messenger. Oh Trump is a good man. No question. He says stuff. You wince. But he also builds stuff. No one works harder. Up at dawn, asleep at midnight. No booze. No drugs. No excuses.

But I will say this about our messenger, we were looking for someone else but couldn't find him, so we settled on Trump.

That was divine intervention.

No one else could take being called Hitler and clown and all those nasty, unprofessional and unwarranted things said by the "conservative" commentariat. He took their best shots and fired back. Ditto Hillary and her crones and cronies in the press corps.

This was not a stunning upset. The polls were wrong. They were wrong because instead of giving the numbers straight to the public, the media massaged the numbers.

This was a repudiation of everything that makes America what it is today -- a weak banana republic where crime is accepted as a way of life. Bribery. Extortion. Sale of State secrets. Of course the Saudi government paid for Chelsea's wedding.

We know who paid for Ivanka's wedding.

The media said she was a lock -- that she had a commanding lead and an 80% or more chance of winning.

The media lied. The polls were not wrong. They were lies.

What did I say? That is right. The polls be damned, I said he had a 97.5% chance. These were not numbers pulled out of my butt or my computer model. I said win Ohio, win the presidency. That was what happened 39 out of the previous 40 times -- or 97.5%.

Now that is 40 out of 41 times or 97.6%.

Now these lousy bastards will try to deny Trump a mandate.

Baloney.

He destroyed the Republican Party in the nomination process.

Now he has destroyed the Democratic Party. And the media.

The Democrats have nothing. They do not have the House or the Senate. Most state governments are Republican now. They have no new ideas and no credibility.

Ditto the media.

I am so happy and grateful for Trump. He is Wizard Enough.

Oh and there is this:

Book plug: "Trump the Press" skewers media experts who wrongly predicted Trump would lose the Republican nomination. I use my deadliest weapon: their own words. "Trump the Press" is available as a paperback, and on Kindle.

Sequel is coming.

  1. The Republican Party was not destroyed; just certain pundits, consultants, strategists, money-men, think-tankers, need to relocate their offices. The holiday season should provide them with enough time.

Most Republicans in the states were separated from those I listed above; it is just the separation got permanent.

    1. Depends on how we define "Party". The old GOP is busted. That's why Trump was nominated. The New GOP will take a while to get formed up, with a lot fewer "pundits" accepted. MY pundit is DON SURBER. (Just got up,and computer refused to start up for a while.

    2. Right on!

My wife was on her laptop in bed & I told her I'd check to find out who won.

I went straight to Don Surber, read that Trump has a mandate & THEN went to Drudge.

My grandkids can grow up in AMERICA!!!

  13. Don,

Indeed, congratulations! If sales of your book don't skyrocket tomorrow, there is no intelligence in the world.

I knew the polls were wrong, and I was right why they were wrong. However, I mostly missed the method of victory tonight- I thought Trump had to win VA, but Trump and his campaign were brilliantly right- the Rust Belt strategy was the right one. What a brilliant flanking maneuver that was. Not too many people outside of the Trump campaign saw it and believed in it. I stand corrected, and happier than I have been in a while.

  30. I deliberately didn't watch any news last night. I woke up this morning, poured a cup of coffee, and turned on the 6 a.m. news. The newscaster said that America is waking up with a new president, President-Elect Donald J. Trump. I let out a whoop and for some reason immediately began singing, "Ding-Dong, the witch is dead!" In celebration, I hereby declare it to be Open Season on the flying monkeys of Hillary''s "mainstream media" (Hock! Ptooey! mainstream my...left foot.) Wake up, America! It's time we get this train back on the right track. - Elric

  31. The absolute shock by the pundits is so delicious. It's like if they can't understand that if you keep calling people bigots & racists, they'll eventually turn on you.

Savor their tears. But the fight to bring the change to DC Trump promised has just begun. The same "Smart Set" who didn't see his win coming will now start putting up road block after road block to stop him. We have to keep the pressure on Congress and calling out the MSM.

Thank you Don for "Trump the Press" and your blog.

You know who else lost big time? Republican consultants like Rick Wilson, the guys who managed the losing campaigns of John McRINO, Mittens Romnycare, and the 16 dudes Trump defeated in the primaries. Another loser is John Kasich. Forget about ever being president, dude.
