Deplorable Donald Trump shocks the media

A week ago, while raising money from her fellow limousine liberals, Hillary Clinton said half of Trump's supporters belong in a basket of deplorables. Everyone agreed it was a gaffe -- which is what Washingtonians call it when a Democrat screws up and tells the truth.

The controversy died.

Trump revived it in Miami on Friday night.

From Business Insider:
Donald Trump continued Friday night to highlight Hillary Clinton’s "basket of deplorables" remark — this time in quite a creative manner.
The Republican presidential nominee walked onstage to the theme song of the popular musical "Les Misérables" at a Miami rally, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
"Welcome to all you deplorables!" Trump told the audience, prompting a roaring applause.
From the Daily Mail:
His supporters have embraced the Clinton label and worn it as a badge of honor, and in the space of just a few days Trump rally-goers have already begun to sport 'I am deplorable' t-shirts and signs.
'My opponent slanders you as "deplorable" and "irredeemable" – boy that second word is tough,' he said Friday night.
'You don't hear that much. It means you can never come back.'
'I call you hard-working American patriots who love your family,' he continued, 'and really, really, really love your country.'
You can only kick a people so long before they rise up and hit you back. Leeches like Hillary and all those trust fund babies who never worked a day in their lives are the problem -- not Trump supporters. Trump too works hard and has since he was 16. It's why at 70 he is healthy to be out there every day giving speeches without one cough in a carload.

By and large, a biased press populated by underpaid social justice warriors does not get it.

From Media-ite:
Remember Donald Trump‘s ridiculously over-the-top WWE-style entrance on night one of the RNC? Well, he outdid himself tonight.
He took the stage in Miami while “Do You Hear the People Sing?” from Les Miserables played and a giant mock-up image reading “Les Deplorables” was shown behind him.
The showmanship of Obama eight years ago was praised.

This was an in-your-face rebuke of Queen Hillary and her handmaidens in the press. They sneer at Trump's supporters as being beneath them. Deplorable indeed.

He is not Jebbio McCruzney. He plays to win, and he plays to keep. His crowds are huge. He is winning and he is attracting voters who want to win again.

Voters's Judgment Day nears. It will not be pleasant for those who have profited from America's downfall.

  1. Mental jiu-jitsu at its best.

As I've been saying, during his days at military school, you can bet he was paying attention in tactics class.

  2. One thing is certain: Trump is much, much smarter than his critics.

  3. When he came out yesterday and started clapping at - for - the crowd, I teared up. Of The People. By The People. For The People. DJT gets this. WE still run this country, dammit. That's why he's going to win, by at least 20 lengths. I'm tired of being yelled at by loser Liberals. Eat my dust, B's.

  5. At this point, the only real question is whether he can keep his cool at the debates, or if Hillary can bring out his inner Don Rickles? They have been looking for every possible button to press, and there are a lot of them.

    1. I liked Don Rickles. In fact, I loved Don Rickles. We Trumpkins understand he has to stay on script every now and then, but when he busts a line on somebody's head, we stand and cheer. And you best believe the rest of the world is like, whoa, that was a good line. Maybe we need to mind our P's and Q's a little more. Yeah, you should. Cause when Donald comes to the table, he doesn't lose.

    2. Trump writes most of his own lines, Hillary has a horde of writers to script hers, so I don't think she will get him rattled at the debates. I think her tactic will be to try to impress the audience with her knowledge of the ins and outs of government and will attack Trump on his inexperience in a "dangerous world." It won't work. People are looking to compare their philosophy of governing, not the details of how DC works to screw up their lives. We already know most of what the government does is handled by faceless bureaucrats. The question on our minds is whether we are going to have 4 more years of the Obama Malaise or real change that will get America going again. A thick book of position papers on every issue from A to Z isn't going to make Hillary likable or help her win the debates.

  6. Perhaps the best part of this story is that the image was made solely by a visitor/commenter at TheConservativeTreehouse.com. There's a write up about the creator. So, no Madison Ave/LA/SF consultants were involved at all.
It's a ground movement. Seismic. Dispatched with precision without a single committee meeting.

  7. Don: The SJWs in the biased press are certainly low paid, but I doubt they're underpaid.

    1. I ran onto this today:

--Tucker Carlson the other day said that modern journalists, and by that he meant political reporters, are just stupid rich kids. The parents have done well so they send their smart kid off to law school, while the dull one is sent off to journalism school. The result is modern journalism is a culture dominated by Ron Burgundy, nitwits too dumb to realize they are stupid.--
