Your wish is my command, so be careful with wishes

In response to "Who said it? National Review or Michael Moore?" a reader tweeted:

OK, ace, you are on.

We need comprehensive immigration reform with a path to full and equal citizenship. If Congress won't act, I'll defend President Obama’s executive actions — and I'll go even further to keep families together. I'll end family detention, close private immigrant detention centers, and help more eligible people become naturalized.

1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.
2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.
3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.
ANSWER: Trump.

I do have a litmus test [for Supreme Court nominees]. I have a bunch of litmus tests, because the next president could get as many as three appointments. It’s one of the many reasons why we can’t turn the White House over to the Republicans again. I’m looking for people who understand the way the real world works. Who don’t have a knee-jerk reaction to support business, to support the idea that you know, money is speech, that gutted the Voting Rights Act. We have to preserve marriage equality,” Clinton said. “We have to go further to end discrimination against the LGBT community, we’ve got to make sure to preserve Roe V. Wade, not let it be nibbled away or repealed.
ANSWER: Hillary.

Justice Scalia was a remarkable person and a brilliant Supreme Court Justice. His career was defined by his reverence for the Constitution and his legacy of protecting Americans’ most cherished freedoms. He was a Justice who did not believe in legislating from the bench and he is a person whom I held in the highest regard and will always greatly respect his intelligence and conviction to uphold the Constitution of our country. The following list of potential Supreme Court justices is representative of the kind of constitutional principles I value and, as President, I plan to use this list as a guide to nominate our next United States Supreme Court Justices.
ANSWER: Trump.

Tonight, I am asking for the vote of every African-American citizen in this country who wants a better future. The inner cities of our country have been run by the Democratic Party for 50 years.  Their policies have produced only poverty, joblessness, failing schools, and broken homes. It is time to hold Democratic politicians accountable for what they have done to these communities.  It is time to hold failed leaders accountable for their results, not just their empty words.
ANSWER: Trump.

Yes, there is no difference between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton -- except on every matter that is crucial to being president: Border control, the Supreme Court, and the economy.

You either want Hillary to be president, or you do not. If the latter is true, welcome aboard. If the former is true, go bother someone else.

  1. The establishment has been in firm control of the megaphone and functional structure of the right since the day Reagan left office. Read my lips domestic policy and endless war along with accommodating the left rather than fighting it have been what we have at bottom been forced to vote for ever since. Now, with the tables turned and our side of the right is coming out ahead, these "stalwarts" decide that their "principles" matter more than the fate of the nation. The fate of their own children. What they fail to realize is that if they leave the foxhole now, there's no coming back. The patriots on this side are through playing that game. It's now or never.
