Trump the feeding frenzy

Hillary's flying monkeys in the press are going full court against Donald Trump, in an effort to discredit him and get the Republican Party to disown him. Journalism is dead. Let's look at the abuses so far today.

From Media Equalizer: "This is CNN: Trump called ‘loud mouth dick’ live on air. Strategist Liz Mair later gloats on Twitter over outburst."

Serial loser. She worked for Rand Paul, Scott Walker, Rick Perry and Carly Fiorina.

From American Mirror: "NBC News reporter compares Donald Trump to woman beater."

I didn't have to look it up. It's Katy Tur. She needs a D at the end of her name and not just because she is a Democrat.

From Politico: "Gaps in Melania Trump's immigration story raise questions."

Gaps in Hillary's story after story after story go unchallenged by the media.

And then Khan, Khan, Khan, Khan.

He is a lawyer who specializes in Muslim immigration. Worked with Loretta Lynch when she was in private practice.

Enough is enough. One fellow at Fox News is standing up to this madness.

From Howard Kurtz:
This is what a full-fledged feeding frenzy looks like.
With Donald Trump facing the roughest stretch of his candidacy, the media have moved from questioning his sanity to depicting a campaign in disarray and top Republicans still wondering whether they can dump the nominee.
That won’t happen, of course, but it’s an indication of the toxic nature of the coverage and the flood of anti-Trump leaks now washing across the media landscape.
There’s a natural piling-on effect when campaigns go off the rails: The polls dip, the critics step up their rhetoric, staffers start pointing fingers, and the press keeps the vicious cycle going.
But I’ve never seen anything like this.
It's fascist.

Really.

The strong-armed dictator controls the media first.

You think Cruz or Rubio would be immune to this stuff? The press stopped Adolf Romney, Adolf McCain, and Adolf Dole.

We already have proven Hillary is above the law. Whitewater, Travelgate, stealing White House furniture, Benghazi, email server -- I am sure I am leaving out three or four other of these in-your-face flaunting of the law. She's Imelda Marcos without the shoes.

  1. Anecdotal, I know, but in the last two weeks my dad, son, and wife have all swung Trump. This shit doesn't bother them, and it's only going to harden the resolve of we who have been on The Train since the beginning. As you pointed out so well in your book, Big D...times have changed and we're sick of being yelled at.

  2. We are about to see just how low these people can go. It's man or break time for the left. If they win, we're Venezuela, which is what they want. Let's hope the people decide otherwise. I have somewhere to go. I doubt if Nonnyass does. I don't he realizes that his sniping hurts him more than it does many of those he snipes at, including Trump.

  3. At what point does the hysteria lose its power to shock and instead just numb people, becoming the background noise they ignore?

  5. On FOX earlier today, before I turned the TV off in disgust, Chris Wallace started to blame Trump (!) for knocking the bad news about the economy and the $400M bribe Obama paid for the Iranians to release American hostages off the front pages and the air waves. I thought Wallace was smarter than that. It's the press, and the press alone, that's creating the Khan furor. They are making up stories about Trump in order to create a distraction to protect Hillary. So while there's real news out there the press should be covering, they are fabricating one fake controversy after another about Trump to make him look bad. Is Wallace really that blind to what's going on?

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I pray every night that Rupert passes in his sleep. JK, but holy moly how far as Fox News sunk? Answer: A long ways. I watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy now. Even though Alex Trebek is also losing his mind...

    2. The media "fabricating one fake controversy after another...."
I've coined the term "nontroversy" to describe that situation exactly. I was glad to see Don use it in one of his articles.

    3. I haven't watched Fox in ages when I noticed their leftward-ho direction, but my husband remains glued to it if I'm not there to change the channel. Today when I got home he said they're reporting Trump's business is in big trouble. Something about the Dems who do business with him. I asked my husband if Trump said this, and he said no. THEN DON'T BELIEVE IT!

  6. I have been watching MSNBC as they are so far over the line, it leaves me laughing. All of the other "news" sources make my blood boil.

The size of Mr. Trump's crowds compared to the size of her highness' crowds says it all - the silent majority is ready to roll in November.

  8. Said it before, saying it again. If the media is for something, I'm agains it. If the media is against something I'm for it. Right now they're spinning so hard they make Rumplestiltskin look like a piker. The MSM is a fifth column, totally, transparently destroying our country.

  9. David French hits the nail on the head.

Who’s laughing now? GOP primary voters, including many of the same people who mocked the Democrats, actually selected a low-information nominee. Donald Trump would struggle to pass high-school civics, and in more than a year on the campaign trail, he hasn’t even tried to learn about our nation, its economy, or its military. No amount of chortling over his ability to defeat Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz changes that fact. He’s on every side of virtually every issue in part because he doesn’t truly know any issue. He compounds his ignorance by refusing to listen to advice and would rather humiliate even his allies (remember the Chris Christie hostage video?) than be seen as taking their counsel. He has no idea how to fight ISIS because he doesn’t have the slightest clue about the military’s capabilities, much less any knowledge of military strategy.

As Trump continues to falter, surprising even the most hardened Never Trump cynics with the sheer extent of his malice and ignorance, the search for scapegoats will only accelerate. The GOP will be consumed with bitterness and finger-pointing. But Trump voters, there’s no need for recriminations or blame-shifting. When considering who’s at fault for the debacle we face, there’s only one person you need to blame. The man in the mirror. This is the world you made.

    1. Falter, huh?

The One True Ted couldn't even cheat his way to the nomination.

"Donald Trump would struggle to pass high-school civics, and in more than a year on the campaign trail, he hasn’t even tried to learn about our nation, its economy, or its military."

what moron worte that? One, no doubt, who never bothered to look that Trump has his MBA from Wharton, back when it actually meant something. Who built a multibillion dollar empire that requires him to deal with banks, governments at all levels, unions, and the public. - so, nno, he knows nothing about how the government or the economy works, right?

He lives it every day, jackass.

I can't really blame the NeverTrumpers for being jealous and bitter. Under this kind of media onslaught, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, or Ted Cruz would have dried up and blown away long ago.

    5. And Mr. Trump went to a military academy for high school where he was an accomplished student respected by all in his class (Buy and read Don's Book). I am guessing he had more civics and history classes than most, me, David French and Gadfly included.

  10. Try this alternate-history thought experiment.

Picture every President you admire. Then assume that they were passed over as President in favour of whoever was running against them.

Think where America and the world would now be.

That gives some idea of where things are headed if Clinton's elected.

  11. The manufactured outrage is so obvious to me, I really don't know how people let themselves get so spun up by it all. How does it feel to be a trained circus monkey? That was me until I figured out the game about 15 years ago. But the media just keeps walking out further and further on that branch. Whatevs. Enjoy your decline, it's going to be swift, MSM clowns. And it couldn't happen to bigger bunch of douches.

  12. ALERT: Democrat & Republican Leaders To Declare Donald Trump “Mentally Incompetent” (UPDATES)
It is an effort initiated by Barack Obama himself when he declared during a recent press conference that Mr. Trump was “unfit to serve” (then quickly echoed by New York Republican Congressman Richard Hanna) as American’s next president. That claim was a planned attack that is to be followed up by similar claims coming from both Republicans and Democrats and then magnified 24/7 by media cohorts intent on derailing the Trump campaign once and for all.

  15. Katy Tur is a real hoot. saw her 'interview' Trump last year and he absolutely schooled her. Katy came across as having an IQ of room temperature (Fahrenheit, gonna be generous here, but in a cooler temp setting) and the mentality of a 12-year old girl. She is an investigative journalist or reporter like I am a ballerina (better change that, I am still pretty light on my feet, how about Sudanese nomadic goat herder).

  16. Oh yeah, the lamestream media dopes are full court press on Trump. He is thumping rotten tired old corrupt loser hilLIARy and they are losing their minds. There is no pretense of being objective reporters, that long has gone by the boards. I swing past a CNN monitor every day and every day it is the latest attack on Trump. I think it's only making Trump stronger b/c he just laughs at them and slams them and then packs the next energetic packed full-house rally. and where is hilLIARy? When she does crawl out from under her rock, she gets about 250 people at her 'rally' (which looks more like a wake). No energy from hilLIARy, she is shot.

  17. What I see happening now is Obama looking for any excuse to withhold "inside information" from Trump that Obama wants to feed to Hillary so she has an advantage going into the debates. The debates will be important to Trump. If he looks uniformed because he's been shut out of the loop by Obama, while she looks like she knows everything about everything that's going on in the entire universe, viewers are going to be misled into thinking she's the competent one.
