For a guy who makes his living off free speech, Scarborough is ignorant of it.
From Business Insider:
"A bloody line has been crossed that cannot be ignored," Scarborough wrote in The Washington Post. "At long last, Donald Trump has left the Republican Party few options but to act decisively and get this political train wreck off the tracks before something terrible happens."
The "Morning Joe" anchor has appeared increasingly unnerved by Trump's refusal to tone down his occasionally authoritarian rhetoric. But Trump's suggestion Tuesday night that gun-rights advocates might try to stop Hillary Clinton from appointing Supreme Court justices was the tipping point.
"At this point, what else could Trump do that would be worse than implying the positive impact of a political assassination?" he asked.Trump said nothing of the kind.
Nor has Trump flim-flammed investors in Whitewater, illegally fired public servants in Travelgate, stolen furniture from the White House, bombed Libya which turned it over to the Islamic State, embraced Putin and mocked the "Cold War mentality," abandoned and left an ambassador and his staff to die, set up a tax-exempt foundation to launder foreign bribes, enriched his family by pocketing funds intended to aid Haiti, gotten a Western mole executed in Iran by sending American secrets in unsecured email....
All Trump has done is say a few things that upset the feckless. For all the conservative mocking of safe spaces and trigger warnings, they demand -- DEMAND I SAY -- Trump hush up.
Hillary has been a felonious, one-woman wrecking crew on foreign policy.
But Scarborough and the rest of the conservative commentariat want her to be elected president just to show that upstart Trump who owns the Republican Party.
Once again, Republicans say, vote for the crook, it's that important.
In criminal law, that's called aiding and abetting.

I hope they choke on Hillary when she starts ruling.
ReplyDeleteBought and paid for and performs whatever song and dance his handlers require of him. Part of the problem. Disposable.
ReplyDeleteI thought the tipping point was back in October last year? Or maybe it was January? I seem to recall something about a tipping also in March, April. Would you media genuises please let us know when you have found the final, once and for all, this finally is it, final answer, tipping point where Trump's campaign goes off the rails and is gone for good.
ReplyDeleteKinda like Peak Trump.
DeleteThe recent CNN thing where they jumped on a story they were fed about the secret service contacting Trump and telling him to tone it down has Roger Stone's signature all over it. Sets them up with a fake story that's too good to check. They run with it and are immediately discredited. I bet he has a staff working full time on stuff like this now. And the media outlets have just been warned that they need to do a better job vetting their stories and sources. I bet he has a staff working full time to feed them bullshit just to keep them occupied and waste time checking leads. And if they lose composure and run with something prematurely they get shot down. Also a way to control the October surprise strategy. If the media can't trust any of their sources, they're less likely to run it and with the news cycle so tight, they have difficulty squeezing something in so close it can't be refuted in time. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteRemember the old days when real Conservatives actually said, "Rove, you magnificent bastard"?
DeleteWe have a new sheriff in town.
Interesting CNN's ratings have approached MSLSD's since the Demos' convention.
ReplyDeleteOh Boo Hoo. Joey is being mean to Donnie. What a bunch of wankers you are. Didn't have any issues when Scarborough had his head up Trump's arse so deep for so long, he needed scuba gear to breath now did you?
ReplyDeleteI think Joe is merely jumping off the rapidly sinking ship.
Conservatives don't "demand -- DEMAND I SAY -- Trump hush up." Conservatives demand he sound like a leader of a nation (not crony employees) and not like the cranky drunk uncle at a family wedding. When Trump gets off the crazy train and starts talking like a leader, maybe the media will then turn its attention to Hillary's countless faults. Until then, keep your life preservers very close. Going to need them.
What ship are you on? What program do you propose? Who is your ideal candidate out of all those available? No answers? Nothing but a worthless troll.
DeleteC'mon. Think man, think. I know you can come up with some smartass evasive answer that insults me and everyone else here without answering the question. It's your one skill. Who you are. Your very being.
DeleteHe on da Ship o' FOOLS (Mr. T voice).
DeleteI'm sorry I hurt your feelings Quack. Was a huge Christie fan til he became Donald's lap dog. That's the leader I want. Tough talker, no nonsense, proven political track record and one who has real experience dealing with the complex issues of terrorism. The Hair has none of these. The Hair wants to build a wall but he never speaks about how he will deal with the near 200 documented tunnels.
DeleteYeah, you can see that Trump ship sinking away with those tens of thousands of voters that he continues to pull in day after day at his rallies that are packed full of enthusiasm, while the h'beast can't fill a high school gym to have her tell everyone that she is a woman.
ReplyDeleteLove the final comment. Photos from the rally you refer to was indeed a packed gym. Well cropped photos made it appear otherwise. I can see why the gullible are so attracted to The Hair.
DeleteThat would a an UN-packed gym.
DeleteYou and gadfly ought to get that Trump Derangement Syndrome checked out.
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump and Hillary Clinton are in a bar. Donald leans over, and with a smile on his face, says, “The media are really tearing you apart for That Scandal.”
ReplyDeleteGood summary, that, at the link.
DeleteGullible? How can anyone that supports Hillary not be gullible? Comparing a highly successful business and family man to a lying money grubbing failure at everything thing she has touched? Anonymous must be in fear of losing their food stamps. I wonder how big a gym she supposedly filled?
ReplyDeleteShe's been verrrrrrrry successful at the money-grubbing. Not a point in her favor, of course.
DeleteCheck out Gateway Pundit comparing Trump's vs. h'beast's crowds: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/08/trump-vs-hillary-campaign-events-no-comparison-pictures-say-thousand-words/
ReplyDeleteLook at all that cropping!
A 12-step program for TDS is in order. Pray for anonymous and gadfly.
I played enough sports to know when the other team is getting desperate. Underhanded fouls, mouthing off, missing shots, and a body posture that says, We're going to lose. Hey Dems, Hey Joe, Hey MSM...you're displaying that all over the place right now. Donald is owning you like the USA Swim Team...
ReplyDeleteScarborough ceased being a Republican years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe ruler of MSNBC plays gold with Obama and has contributed mucho to the Democrats. I can't help but suspect Joe got a memo of some kind.
ReplyDeleteI literally cannot believe how freaked out people get over word choice from a guy who speaks from the gut, routinely. What in THEE HELL is the matter of all of them?
ReplyDeleteFocusing on that instead of Hillary's many and serial crimes, so eloquently listed by Don above? OK, but that tells me a LOT more about you than about Trump. Noted.
