Is Hillary panicked?

After a quarter-century on the national stage, a competent person would run on her record.

Which explains why Hillary cannot. Instead, her plan now is to be the anti-Trump candidate.

From the New York Times:
Day After R.N.C. Ends, Hillary Clinton Presents Herself as the Anti-Trump
ORLANDO, Fla. — Dystopic. Hard to watch. Terrifying.
Hillary Clinton’s advisers didn’t mince words as her campaign watched Donald J. Trump accept the Republican Party’s nomination in Cleveland on Thursday night and his promise to end the “crime and violence that afflicts our nation.”
But mostly, Mrs. Clinton’s team felt a single emotion: pressure.
“The only thing standing between Donald Trump and the White House … is us,” the campaign posted on Instagram.
As the campaign prepares for the start of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Monday, donors, supporters and elected officials say the vision Mr. Trump presented for the nation raised the stakes on Mrs. Clinton to prevail in November.
Usually the incumbent party candidate laughs of the challenger's convention.

Not this time. They are scared. They remember his first TV ad in his campaign.

Hillary's lead over Sabnders dropped by 20 points almost overnight.

Her minions spread the word to Never Trumpers and the liberal media that Trump's speech was too dark and turned of voters.

But she may be feeling deja vu. Eight years ago she lost to a charismatic populist. Money failed to stop him. Oppo research did not work then nor will it work now because she is the sleaziest politician in America -- after he husband of course. Trump was married three times? Hillary gave away state secrets.

I have said this before: This election is a referendum on Trump, which is exactly what he wants. People have decided on her. Now it is up to him to show that he is presidential. And as she attacks him, she lowers that bar.

  1. Yep. Her new meme is that she's the "responsible" one.

    Good luck with that, madam.

  2. In making it all about him she is practically ceding the election to him. Probably counting on voter fraud to win.

    1. Voter fraud has me a bit worried as well. See George Soros and his Secretary of State Project and how many Democratic Secretaries od State are fighting Voter ID laws and resisting cleaning up their voter rolls. And "motor voter" laws and other programs have undoubtedly allowd numerous illegal aliens to vote. The Democrats are masters at voter fraud, and with more and more electronic voting machines it just gets easier for them. I always insist on a paper ballot, but many of those are now counted by mnachines, too. - Elric

    2. That's their big weakness. It shows demographics are not on their side if they can't win without vote fraud.

      And they can't.

    3. There will be more than the usual amount of Dem voter fraud in the upcoming election. The BLM thugs are so emboldened these days, I fully expect them to surround various polling places around the country where they will harass and intimidate white voters in order to keep them from voting. There was a bit of this in the 2012 election, in Philadelphia if memory serves, but I expect it will become much more widespread because the Dems have dropped all pretense of believing in democracy and individual freedom.

  3. I look for Shrillary to try the time tested Clintonista tactic of dragging their opponents down into the mud with them. If Trump can avoid that then he will prevail in a head-to-head contest with Shrillary.

    1. Nobody plays in the mud better than Donald. He makes everyone else look dirty, and somehow he seems like he's having fun through it all. If she goes mud on him, she's done.

  4. I predict that Hillary will refuse to debate Trump, claiming that he is SO dangerous to America that he does not even deserve a public hearing of that nature.

    1. Have you seen the video of what may be her seizing? She can't risk a prolonged high stress environment. Coughing fits, etc.

For the first time since Nixon, no debates. Count on it.

  5. People dislike Hillary and, now that they know about her, they don't trust her.

She can anti-Trump all she wants. She's toast.

    1. She's Venusian toast. Incinerated, crushed, and dissolved, all at the same time.

Hmm, seem to have a Wayne and Garth thing going here.

  6. When even young Commies prefer to vote for a Republican self-made billionaire, you know something is seriously wrong with the Democrat candidate.

  7. With the Wikileaks release Bernie supporters can see how DWS and the DNC stacked the deck against him. DWS has resigned in disgrace. This doesn't mean that Bernie supporters will vote for Trump, but they may stay home because their candidate got the shaft.
