CNN story on Clinton blasting SuperPACs ignores her SuperPACs

Outside PACs freed to spend as they please after the Supreme Court struck down as unconstitutional the McCain-Feingold Incumbents Protection Act (which Clinton voted for) have raised $84,815,067 while Trump raised only $3,294,908.

You could not tell reading Dan Merica's story on CNN which painted her as a campaign reformer.

No reply.

I realize all the Cool Kids are for Hillary in DC this season, but journalism should trump Merica's bias.

I mean, she is a hypocrite. If it were Trump, that would be the lead.

Instead he reported:
Hillary Clinton will pledge on Saturday to introduce an amendment to the Constitution to overturn the Supreme Court's Citizen United decision within the first 30 days of her administration, an aide said Saturday.
Clinton first made the pledge to overturn the 2010 Supreme Court decision Citizens United, which opened the floodgates for outside money in politics, while campaigning in Iowa in 2015. She will tell an audience Saturday in a video to be played at Netroots Nation, a liberal organizing conference in St. Louis, that a key way to restore order to politics is to curb unaccounted money.
Geez, Louise, he did not even point out that Citizens United was shut down by the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold Act from criticizing Hilary two months before the election.

I thought cable networks didn't like phone-ins. But Merica just phoned it in, didn't he?

    ?????? Huh?

  2. This is a biggie for hardcore Lefties only, but they should be on board already.

Question, is she in that much trouble she has to get them going?

    1. Yes. At this point in your average campaign the Democrat is by now playing the centrist. She's still trying to keep her coalition from splintering.

  3. You forgot to take note of the numerous bribes that were given over the last few years to the Clinton Family Political Slush Fund and Tax Scam LLC by her wealthy clients, I mean her progressive posse, whoops I mean...well, dang it, you know what I'm trying to say, don't you? Why do I have to spell it out? C-R-O-O-K-E-D H-I-L-L-A-R-Y!

  4. "But Merica just phoned it in"

Well, maybe. If a teletype can be said to do anything requiring conscious thought.

Buying a standalone fax machine may no longer be feasible; a better option would be to get a three in one contraption that serves as a printer, photo copier as well as a fax machine. Needless to say, this could be more cost-effective. Once you introduce the document to the fax machine and perform the necessary functions, a process called a 'handshake' is carried out by the machine, emitting a screeching sound.

  7. I wonder how much of the SuperPAC money raised for Hillary came from union pension funds that the taxpayer will end up bailing out? - Elric
