Trump ad smacks Hillary

Trump's new Super PAC ad.

I cannot imagine Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz running an ad like this. Maybe if she were a Republican....

The New York Times story on the ad.

  1. Don, Is this ad running on TV, or just on YouTube?

  2. Very good! Wouldn't sign up w/ NYT to read their story, though.

  3. To run an ad like that would be ungentlemanly.

  4. Is this ad part of Trump's "ideas election" with "substance" that you posted yesterday Don?
If mocking Bill and Hillary and a promise to build a wall is all Trump has, then why vote at all in this election? I've read about Trump's numerous ideas. Where are the specifics? So Trump can ridicule his rivals and critics with Don Rickles perfection. Still doesn't prove he's ready for the White House.

    1. Read the Autobiography of Calvin Coolidge. No one is ready to be president. Except for you, of course. The smartest person ever to live in history is an automatic qualifier, I hear. It doesn't even matter how big of an asshole you are.

    2. And, by the way. Give me one example of a presidential candidate who completely articulated a comprehensive plan for his presidency before hand and was able to deliver on it. Specifics.

    3. It's not that hard teaquack. History shows - with little research - that plenty of prez candidates put out detailed plans for their presidency. I'm not sure any have delivered 100 percent considering there are 500 plus lawmakers to bargain with as well. That is where my vote has always gone, the president with a plan worth believing in, with exception of Gore v W - I left it blank that year. Thus comes Trump. Aside from his ability to appeal to your Angry White Man Syndrome, what does he have to offer? I'm not voting for Hillary. But why Trump? Cause he insults people so well?

    5. Even suggesting a real border is enough for me. The non-existent one we have now will give the left everything they want eventually. Anyone who supports open borders is a poser, not a conservative.

  6. On this ad: From a PR pov, Big Fail. Try again. The best known lines about Bill are missing (e.g., "it all depends on what your definition of is is") as is the closer on Hill (e.g., choice text from the State Dept. IG report that proves she has lied repeatedly. The ad ASSUMES you know and believe that the quotes from these two are either intended to deceive people or demonstrably untrue. The ad preaches to the already convinced. It needs to reach out to those who may have doubts but aren't quite sure or aren't as politically aware as the readers of this blog, for instance.
