Public forces Obama to tell the truth

The Department of Justice attempt to gloss over the fact that a Muslim terrorist slaughtered 49 people and wounded 53 more in a shooting spree in Orland eight days ago. The Democratic Party-Obama administration redacted transcripts of the Muslim terrorist talking to 911 after the shooting while police tried to end a post-shooting hostage situation.

It was another lie most of the press accepted as par for the course.

The Democratic Party and its operatives in the press truly believe conservatives and Christians are the threat. After every Muslim attack on the United States on our soil Obama and the rest of the Democrats speak out against Islamophobia, even as they deny Islam has anything to do with the actions that indeed terrorize our nation.

Not this time.

This time the public rose and the Republican Party demanded President Obama and his staff tell the truth.

From Fox News, which Obama has warred against for eight years:
Under pressure from Republican leaders, the Justice Department on Monday afternoon reversed itself and released a full, uncensored transcript of the Orlando terrorist's 911 call on the night of the massacre, calling the morning’s furor over omissions in the document “an unnecessary distraction.”
An earlier version of the transcript had deleted the word “Islamic State” and the name of ISIS leader “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.” Omar Mateen made the 50-second 911 call in which he claimed responsibility for the terror attack and pledged allegiance to Islamic State's leader at 2:35 a.m. The call came just over a half hour into the June 12 slaughter at gay nightclub Pulse.
“I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of the Islamic State,” Mateen says on the new transcript.
The old version had several words scrubbed and read: "I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted]."
It is still redacted. The man did not say God. He said Allah, who is a false god.

I am glad to see the Republican Party show some brass.

  1. After reading one of the 911 call transcripts, I would think that part of the reason it was redacted is that the White House did not want the public to see just how stupid the murderer terrorist was. Dumber than a box of rocks.

  2. "Dumber than a box of rocks. "

Apparently no dumber than the FBI teams who investigated Mateen over the years and saw no warning signs of his possible radicalization. Inspector Clouseau would have done a better job of uncovering the truth about him than our FBI did. Why they failed should be of high priority in any post-mortem of this attack. Otherwise we can expect more such attacks in the future. The on-going investigation should not be run like some textbook criminal investigation as a prelude to a criminal indictment. The first priority should be to prevent another such attack in the future. That means the investigators need to look inward to discover why the FBI and the DHS both failed to foresee and prevent the Orlando killings from ever happening.

    1. Probably the same FBI agents who investigated Nidal Hasan and found nothing. Makes you sleep better, doesn't it.

  4. How long before Putin forces Hillary to tell the truth?

And you just KNOW that that truth is gonna be uglier than a hatful of assholes.

  5. Truth? I will try to believe that when we get the audio, but even then it may have been tampered with.

  7. This has nothing to do with fooling anyone. This about having the power to make a cowed populace adopt a political line they know is not reality.

  9. Both Chris Plante (who I absolutely love) and Rush were hammering away on this yesterday. Thank the Lord for conservative talk radio.

  10. I believe that the Orlando cops are also trying to hoodwink the public. They contend that for 3 hours while the SWAT guys waited to enter Pulse that the terrorist didn't fire any shots. But evidence has emerged from text messages and from at least one of the survivors that contradict the cop's story. I expect there will be more revelations once the other survivors start talking, unless of course they are intimidated into silence because it's an "on going" investigation.

When seconds count the SWAT team is only hours away. You can't count of the authorities to protect you.

  11. It makes one wonder why our president is so anti-American and so pro-Muslim. He has placed Muslims in positions to influence our policies and our security, and they are becoming rather effective. I fear it will get worse before the citizenry wakes up and forces action. - Elric
