Top Islamic leader in America endorses Trump's ban on Muslim immigration

Remember how Trump's call to stop Muslim immigration was racist?

Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam supports the plan.

That is right folks, From Farrakhan himself:
So when Mr. Trump said we can’t allow these Muslim refugees into America, a lot of people were upset with him, but I know the hatred for America in the Muslim world is building.
So in this way I think Mr. Trump is wise to vet anyone coming from that area into America because the hatred for America is in the streets now.
Today, the Hill reported Farrakhan praised Trump for not taking "Jewish money," an anti-Semitic rant that Trump should denounce.

From the Hill:
“[Trump] is the only member who has stood in front of [the] Jewish community and said, ‘I don’t want your money,’” Farrakhan said on Monday during the Nation's annual Saviours’ Day sermon, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
“Anytime a man can say to those who control the politics of America, ‘I don’t want your money,’ that means you can’t control me. And they cannot afford to give up control of the presidents of the United States.”
He lies. Most campaign money in America is gentile. Religion has nothing to do with money.

Of course, some are playing this as Farrakhan endorsing Trump. They want to tie it to David Duke's unsolicited endorsement last week.

From Raw Story: "Proving that politics does indeed make strange bedfellows, the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan joined with the Ku Klux Klan in expressing his admiration for 2016 GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump."

From The Week: "Farrakhan has a history of spreading hateful rumors about Jews, such as by blaming them for the Iraq War and 9/11. He is only the latest extremist to throw his weight behind Donald Trump. Late last week, former KKK grand wizard David Duke praised Donald Trump; Trump later disavowed Duke's support after receiving scathing criticism for his waffling."

Both men have vile beliefs. Trump has not solicited their support.

One way of looking at this is Trump is bringing together people who hate one another.

  1. Did Trump renounce Farakhan's endorsement- an endorsement from a notorious bigot? No! More proof that Trump is a racist. First David Duke and now Lewis Farakhan. We definitely need to dump Trump in favor of Romney, that's how we will win in November.

    1. Sometimes one does not dignify asinine comments with a response and Farrak-conman and David Duke do not deserve any more attention than they get.

    2. Romney proved he is a loser. Do not recirculate losers!

    3. The Repubocrat elitists are becoming the poster children for the definition of insanity.

    4. Great satire. So good these other guys couldn't see it. Maybe too good.

  2. I think it was Charles Dudley Warner who made the quip, "Politics makes strange bedfellows." - Elric
