"Arizona Trump Protesters Shut Down Highway, Creating 300,000 More Trump Voters"

The Democratic Party's latest fascist tactic against Trump's free speech is to shut down highways leading to a Trump rally.

As long as President Obama -- leader of the Democratic Party -- refuses to condemn such activity and tell his supporters this is not who we are, Obama and his party are responsible for the intimidation and not the disruption of highway activity. Lives could be at risk if emergency vehicles are blocked by Democrats and in this case, illegal aliens.

But I am amused, not angry.

David Burge, the Iowahawk and one of the sliest men on the Internet, tweeted: "Breaking: Arizona Trump Protesters Celebrate Shutting Down Highway, Creating 300,000 More Trump Voters."

The news media blamed Trump, of course.

From the New York Daily News:
Make America late again.
Anti-Donald Trump protesters blocked an Arizona highway and created a traffic nightmare in an attempt to keep the GOP front runner and his supporters from attending his Saturday rally in Fountain Hills.
The Trump haters parked their cars in the middle of the three-lane road that leads to Fountain park — where the candidate is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. EST — and some protesters even chained themselves to their vehicles to slow down cops’ efforts to clear the blockade.
“We don’t want Donald Trump in Arizona. We don’t want his hatred,” the lead protester told an NBC News reporter on the scene.
Trump made an appearance at the Phoenix Convention Center Saturday morning before setting off for Fountain Hills’ Fountain Park, about 30 miles northwest of the city. One major road — the one the protesters blocked — leads to the small suburb.
Yes, that is correct. Trump is making America late again.

Face it, the Left and the Conservative Establishment do not want a many who gets things done going to Washington and destroying the trillion-dollar empire of welfare, subsidies, an crony capitalism they have built up since LBJ was president. The harpies in the press just repeat the bipartisan line.

y question is why did the police not direct traffic around the assholes.

  1. One reason for Trump's popularity is frustration with the ruling class (establishment) and a second reason would be the disgust with the free rein given the anarchists.
If the establishment or the anarchists don't assassinate him he will be the next president.

  2. ...demonstrating once again that Democrats/Liberals do not believe in the Bill of Rights guarantee of free speech. From colleges to the highways, they behave like totalitarians, not freedom-loving Americans.

  3. The "Media" reports will add to that 300K. My question is why the local police, county sheriff, and AHP did not call all towing companies to impound those cars, (I'd pay money to see THAT.)

  4. This is the environment of the 60s all over.

The crazies ran wild and people got fed up.

We went from cops being pigs to cops being the good guys.

    It will happen again.

    1. In the 60's there was widespread discontent with the Viet Nam war which the Left used to it's advantage. Today there is widespread discontent with The Establishment which Trump is using to his advantage.

    2. NO, this is protest envy. These folks have grown up with the romantic tales of Civil Rights marchers bravely facing the evils of institutional racism (mostly true) and the anti-war protesters taking the moral high-ground and stopping the Vietnam War (mostly fiction), and desperately want to have as much meaning and significance in their lives, so they seek any opportunity to "protest."

  5. Direct traffic *around* the blockage? That's imPOSsible. Seems that cops everywhere (God bless 'em) don't bother with traffic control anymore, bypassing accidents or blockages. Instead, seventeen cop cars will show up for a wreck or blockage and observe. So as to maintain order, I guess.

  7. I rated this article funny yet I should have rated it moronic. Mr Surber it would behoove you to check your spelling and grammar before you publish something in the future, my youngest son could write a more cohesive article with better spelling and grammar, and he's in third grade. Sorry sir, I'm afraid I can't take you seriously.

    1. Well, in that case then magically Mr. Surber's logic fails, and the commuters WON'T be impelled to support Trump by anger at the protestors?

      Idiot.

    2. Anonymous ... so you didn't understand what his point was ? and I doubt you have a son in the third grade ... anyone as dense as you could never attract a wife who would be willing to bear you children plus anyone who can't be bothered to even make a name up or use their real one is just a troll ...

    3. Anon, the word you wanted was "coherent", not "cohesive". If what you wrote is true, you will leave and never darken this blog again, it not being worth your time.

  9. Blocking traffic. Yeah, that's a good way to win the 'hearts and minds' of the people.

I find it astonishing you think Trump is this man. He has been a crony capitalist his whole life and basically a leftist. He says a few un-PC things about immigration and millions swoon without even a thought about Trump's life before now. I hope Trump is who you think he is, but I don't see any evidence for it.

    1. Regardless of who or what Trump is he will win the ROP nomination unless the dark forces behind the ROP change the rules to deny him. When the choice comes down to Trump or Shrillary I vote Trump.

  13. Funny how the 'free speechers' now hate free speech. Well, truthfully, everybody knew that, but now we have the evidence that free speachers are merely thinly disguised bolsheviks ...

    1. Molotov Cocktails tossed by fed up locals would end all of these road blocking 'protests'.

  15. I live in the area. These clowns blocked two roads, not just one, cutting off all traffic into the town of Fountain Hills. They picked places where the road goes through steep, rocky canyons that make diverting around the blockage impossible. There was a two or three mile backup and a delay of 90 minutes or so. Some people missed doctor's appointments at the Mayo Clinic and others had babies and animals in their vehicles. A horse trailer full of horses got quite overheated on this rather hot day. They're just lucky no one needed an ambulance.

The mood of the people making comments on our local news website was at least 50-1 against them, with plenty of calls for bulldozers and tear gas.

  16. Ditto on the bulldozers. It is amazing how a few drug induced, Left-wing losers can stop the will of so many honest, hard working, patriotic people. If we put a few of these Hillary supporters in the hospital (or the ground) you wouldn't see many more events like this. On the other hand, doing nothing to them more than tickets and a towing fee will give them the courage to do more. We will learn to regret this.

    1. THIS. None of these lefty nutjobs should have been able to walk away from the scene unaided. The people they stopped should have walked up and wailed the tar out of them and left them bleeding on the side of the highway.... Then burned their cars and went on their way.

      Delete
    2. People should walk up to the blockage close enough to get license plate numbers and photos, and share such info for use in hundreds to thousands of personal lawsuits against the blockers. Even if its for just a few dollars in small claims court. Create the legal nightmare of all time for these leftist twits.

  19. True story...
Once upon a time; in Sturgis, some PETA folks thought it a good idea to throw fake blood on some biker's leathers.
    Not a good idea.
Said bikers proceeded to chain said PETA folks to trees and coat them in biker urine...then left them for the animals they were so protective of.
    Just a reminder.
