Why conservatives like Trump

Donald Trump said CNN will have to pay him $5 million to get him to show up for its Republican presidential debate, which the Washington liberal Wolf Blitzer will host. While CNN was fair and balanced in its first debate, which drew triple the audience of any CNN show in its 35-year history, Blitzer is less likely to curb his bias or to ask questions pertinent to Republican voters -- or as I call it, most likely to go CNBC on Republican candidates.

From a CNBC report (ah, irony) from Macon, Georgia:
"How about I tell CNN, who doesn't treat me properly ... I'm not gonna do the next debate, okay?" The demand garnered tepid applause from the crowd.
Trump zeroed in more on his idea: "I won't do the debate unless they pay me $5 million, all of which goes to Wounded Warriors or goes to vets."
Tepid? You see why Trump tires of the media.

Oh and the headline was straight out of Bizarro World: "Trump Proposes $5 Million Ransom for Showing Up at CNN Debate."

Ransom? Look up the word and tell me whom does he hold hostage?

Who needs these Democratic Party operatives pretending to be newsmen?

  1. Trump is toying with the LibDems just to see their heads explode. Plus look at all the free publicity he's getting.

  2. Did Conservatives like Trump when he was insulting Fox golden child Megyn Kelly?

    1. I can't speak for everyone, but I didn't have a dog in that fight. On their own.

    2. He's not insulting anyone in this case. js

    3. Actually, Trump is insulting you, me, millions of Americans, especially veterans. When a billionaire says he won't participate in a debate and answer questions about why he should be president unless he is given $5 million dollars, then he has very much insulted anyone who gives a darn about our fledging political system. Even worse, to make the farce statement worse by pledging the money to wounded veterans because it makes for a great sound bite and it tugs at a lot of individual emotions should make anyone sick to their stomach. If Trump really cared about wounded vets, he ought to write a check for $5 mil right now out of his own billions to Wounded Warriors.

  3. Once again, the Stupid Party is gonna allow a liberal to set the agenda at one of their debates. After the Candy Crowley disaster, the Clinton News Network should never be allowed to host another debate for the Republican primaries or the general election.

With any luck, Cruz will put Wolfie in his place like he did to the liberal hacks at CNBC.
