Donald Trump said CNN will have to pay him $5 million to get him to show up for its Republican presidential debate, which the Washington liberal Wolf Blitzer will host. While CNN was fair and balanced in its first debate, which drew triple the audience of any CNN show in its 35-year history, Blitzer is less likely to curb his bias or to ask questions pertinent to Republican voters -- or as I call it, most likely to go CNBC on Republican candidates.
From a CNBC report (ah, irony) from Macon, Georgia:
"How about I tell CNN, who doesn't treat me properly ... I'm not gonna do the next debate, okay?" The demand garnered tepid applause from the crowd.
Trump zeroed in more on his idea: "I won't do the debate unless they pay me $5 million, all of which goes to Wounded Warriors or goes to vets."Tepid? You see why Trump tires of the media.
Oh and the headline was straight out of Bizarro World: "Trump Proposes $5 Million Ransom for Showing Up at CNN Debate."
Ransom? Look up the word and tell me whom does he hold hostage?
Who needs these Democratic Party operatives pretending to be newsmen?
