Obamacided press whines about Trump

In a piece entitled "7 Reasons Why Trump Will Win," longtime newspaperman Nicco Mele concluded:
The most troubling thing for me in the entire Trump candidacy so far is the way he flummoxes journalists. Chuck Todd did an admirable job this morning  —  but was brushed aside, as many others before him. What does it mean to be a journalist  —  to hold power accountable  —  when power (and the public?) seems not to care too much about being held accountable?
Well, boo hoo hoo. Too bad. The press surrendered its role as a counterweight to power when it failed to hold Candidate Barack Obama accountable for any of his past associations, any of his hollow promises, and any of his demagoguery. Trump's supporters now are free to brush aside the press because they know the press is in bed with President Obama and all the radical self-proclaimed communists like Van Jones and Bill Ayers who supported him. The press committed Obamacide in Metropolis, Illinois, in February 2007 when Senator Obama announced for the presidency. Joe the Plumber faced more press hostility than Obama. So to the press Trump supporters say:
Take this quarter, go downtown and have a rat gnaw that thing off your face.

  1. "The press surrendered its role as a counterweight to power when it failed to hold Candidate Barack Obama accountable for any of his past associations, any of his hollow promises, and any of his demagoguery." Not to mention, Hillary!

    1. .... and not to mention Bush II, and Clinton and Regan who was nicknamed "Teflon" for his ability to shrug off the media so effortlessly. What a shame that Surber - who I think was a reporter once - doesn't think reporters' questions should be answered by presidential candidates.
Does Surber, or anyone else, not think that presidential candidates (both Rs and Ds equally alike!!) should answer questions from reporters, many of which reflect what millions of voters are wanting to ask as well.
I know what Trump (and other candidates) say what they will do if elected. Sad that no specifics as to how they will accomplish it are ever offered. Sorry, but "I'll make Mexico pay" for a fence doesn't cut it. What's even sadder is that Surber thinks that is okay. Nearly every question he wants candidate Hillary to answer, I want answered too. Why not hold the same standard to the Rs?

    2. Of course he does, but he also thinks they haven't been asking Democrats. Only Republicans. Many of us out in the hinterlands have noticed that too.

    3. Anonymous - Once again your hatred of Surber causes you to miss the point of the entire post. The LSM is no longer made up of journalists. They are propagandists and they are the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party. We knew more about Sarah Palin, whom they were bound and determined to destroy, a week after McRINO selected her than we'll ever know about Obungler. If a Republican had done half the shenanigans of the Clintons he would have been forced to resign. Exhibit A: Nixon. BJ and Cankles were far more corrupt than Nixon but the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party attacked Ken Starr and protected the Clintons.

  2. One of my friends told me that Joe the Plumber was not even a real plumber... and we all know that only licensed plumbers are allowed to express political options in this country. :)

  3. Maybe secretly the press want Trump to win. They would then have 4 years of abusive insulting and profit handsomely. What are they going to get for kissing Hillary's heinei? Nodding readers. Money talks to the press louder than any righteous cause.
