Liberals sure seem to know a lot about recruiting Muslim terrorists

On Wednesday, triple Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas Friedman wrote: "Trump, by alienating the Muslim world with his call for a ban on Muslims entering America, is acting as the Islamic State's secret agent. ISIS wants every Muslim in America (and Europe) to feel alienated. If that happens, ISIS won't need to recruit anyone. People will will just act on their own."

Friedman's column followed Ruth Marcus's proclamation about Trump: "He is a one-man recruiting tool for the Islamic State."

Both columnists seem to believe that millions of Muslims are so close to the brink of killing people that a few words from Donald Trump is enough to get them to slap on the old suicide bomb vest and get them some infidels. The idea that moderate Muslims might react in moderation does not seem to occur to these two liberals.

Liberals have a long history of sharing their vast knowledge of the Islamic mind and what it takes to turn Muslims into suicide bombers.

From John Kerry in 2004 blamed President Bush: "I believe this administration, in its policies, is actually encouraging the recruitment of terrorists,"

In 2008, Joe Biden said imprisoning terrorists at Guantanamo Bay has "become the greatest propaganda tool that exists for recruiting of terrorists around the world."

In 2015, Hillary Clinton objected to calling terrorists radical Muslims: "it helps to create this clash of civilizations that is actually a recruiting tool for ISIS and other radical jihadists who use this as a way of saying we're in a war against the West. You must join us. If you are a Muslim, you must join us."

The pattern is clear. Liberals lecture us: If Americans take any actions against Muslim terrorists, then there will be more Muslim terrorists.

Of course, under President Obama, we have done very little to fight the War on Terrorism and there are more Muslim terrorists than ever before.

Hey, could it be that weakness by the West pushes people to seek the security that the Islamic State offers?

I'll have to ask a liberal that question. They know all about recruiting terrorists.

  1. I recall Bin Laden our weakness prompted him to act.

Thanks for calling the liberals out on this. So much of their thinking is faulty, it is hard to know where to begin!

  2. By their logic we shouldn't have fought Nazi Germany since that only created more Nazis. How do these people function in the world? The way you defeat an enemy is to kill him until they quit fighting or there is no more of them to kill. You also don't allow that enemy to enter your country. Did we allow Nazis to enter the country in WWII? The problem with liberals is that they don't realize that we are at war with Islam and have been since the 7th Century when they came pouring forth out of Arabia to conquer Europe and North Africa. Islam realizes that it is at war with us. This is what ignorance of history brings. This is what failing to read the Koran brings.

  3. Typical Liberal lack of self-awareness: Friedman is a one-man recruiting tool for Donald Trump.

  4. Taking NO action will encourage them more.

  5. The Times alienates every conservative in America. It is the greatest propaganda tool that exists for recruiting voters to Donald Trump's campaign.

How do you like THEM apples, Tom baby?
