  2. It goes in a cycle. Progressive was once a dirty word so it was replaced by liberal. Now that liberal is a dirty word, it has been replaced by progressive.

  3. Denny, it's the Euphemism Treadmill.

  4. Communist is a very devious term. It was created to obscure for socialists.

    Progressive was created as a substitute for socialist
