Progressives recycle another lie
ManBearPig Al Gore and his flunkies are beginning to forget what they pushed before. The people at the ironically named Think Progress site are recycling a claim from 2012 (perhaps earlier) that carbon dioxide makes you stupid. This was first discredited in 2012.
From Think Progress: "Exclusive: Elevated CO2 Levels Directly Affect Human Cognition, New Harvard Study Shows."
The claim is neither exclusive nor new.
This particular study is based on 24 people who were in rooms with ambient carbon dioxide 945 parts per million -- or more than twice as much as is in the air now. These 24 people turned into Superman facing kryptonite as their brains melted at an exposure that is half what you can expect to find in an actual greenhouse.
Anthony Watts discredited this three years ago.
Submarines have carbon dioxide levels of up to 8,000 parts per million. It quoted Dr. William Happer, a physicist at Princeton and an expert on atomic energy, who testified before the Senate and said, "We try to keep CO2 levels in our U.S. Navy submarines no higher than 8,000 parts per million, about 20 time current atmospheric levels. Few adverse effects are observed at even higher levels."
You cannot spell liberal without L-I-E.
