Tax B.S. from the L.A. Times

The headline in the Los Angeles Times shows just how knee deep in socialism that newspaper is:

Trump's Tax Cuts Could Cost U.S. Trillions of Dollars, Experts Say

The tax cuts will not cost the United States a dime. Americans will still have the money. It just will not be going to the government,

And why should it? So Planned Parenthood can cut up babies?

It is not as if the money is going to fix roads, protect our borders, or defeat the Islamic State.

I get tired of editorials disguised as news stories. Don't you?

  1. As Ed Leach would likely have said, Boy, Howdy! Newspapers and other media seem to be doing their best to earn our distrust.

  2. The federal government doesn't have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. Any tax reform proposal that reduces the flow of dollars to the government has my support, but Trump's proposal needs to be accompanied by a sound plan to prioritize and cut federal spending. He can't do that alone; Congressional Republicans need to step up and tell us how they will put the government on a lean budget in the post Obummer-Bonehead years ahead.

  3. Well, he does give new meaning to deficit spending. Although he comes at it from cutting taxes, where as Bernie comes at his admittedly lower predicted deficits by spending. Trump wants to expand healthcare spending and really, what would he be able to cut? takes a compliant congress to do that, and he is unlikely to get anything.
Those who's love to cut budget are not the ones who are going to allow Single Payer.

Right now, America is not looking like it will be in good hands for some time to come.
