Trump fights the real enemy -- Jeb! Bush

Donald Trump is having fun as a presidential candidate. He seems hellbent on driving Jeb! Bush from the race. His latest move is to upstage Jeb! Bush in New Hampshire.

From the Wall Street Journal:
Donald Trump is playing mischief with Republican rival Jeb Bush’s appearance in New Hampshire Wednesday, with the businessman scheduling a town hall meeting at the same time that the former Florida governor is scheduled to hold his own voter forum.
For his New Hampshire swing, Mr. Bush is scheduled to be among a slate of GOP candidates speaking at all-day education summit in Londonderry, N.H., on Wednesday. Held by an education-focused news outlet run by former journalist Campbell Brown, the forum will feature Mr. Bush during the day.
At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mr. Bush will then hold a town hall meeting in Merrimack.
On Monday, Mr. Trump’s campaign announced that it will hold its own town hall meeting about 25 miles down the road from Mr. Bush’s event in Derry, N.H. That forum begins at 6:30 p.m. with a press check in at 3:30 p.m.
When asked about the dueling town halls Monday afternoon, Mr. Trump was flip.
“Because Bush draws so poorly, I figured it would be a good time to draw a crowd. Something like that,” Mr. Trump told a Wall Street Journal reporter when asked about the matter at the businessman’s jury duty appearance at state Supreme Court in Manhattan Monday.
While the town halls are at the same times, they are being held in different counties — one being in Rockingham and the other in Merrimack.
“Someone should tell Mr. Trump he will be trying to troll us from an entirely different county,” said Allie Brandenburger, a spokeswoman for Mr. Bush.
The two men have increasingly gone after each other in recent days. Mr. Bush has faulted Mr. Trump’s controversial statements on women and Mexicans, while Mr. Trump has said that Mr. Bush is beholden to his wealthy donors and has sought to tie him to the Iraq record of his brother former President George W. Bush.
Trump may not get many style points but he is effective this summer.

    1. JP, this time we have a conservative out RINO hunting. I for one have had enough of the Chamber of Communists picking sour candidates for us. if republicans are conservative, we need to cast off the socialist leaning yammerers. I like Cruz, I'm rooting for Cruz, but if Wall Street has its way we will be saddled with another RINO ala McInsane, or Mittens.Trump playing Pecos Bill with them is just fine with me.

    2. Just one problem Jeremy - if Trump get the R nod - or runs as a third party candidate so he can continue to have fun in the spotlight, he will then all but deliver the White House to the Dems. Yes, he is bringing a twisted entertainment element to the race but this is the POTUS spot at stake, not student government prez of the local high school.

  2. Taking out jeb would be a good thing. He's veered sharply left since he left Tallahassee.

  3. How can Jeb stand up to Trump? He can't even make the determination about what language is spoken in the Bush household.
