Planned Parenthood: Republicans cause VD

Republican Governor Bobby Jindal cut funding to Planned Parenthood, the abortion mill that sells baby parts to the highest bidder. In an attempt to get even, Melissa Flournoy, director of the Planned Parenthood subsidiary in Louisiana, used her connections at the Times-Picayune to attack Jindal in a column.

The result was a spittle-laced tirade that blamed Jindal for "chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis and HIV/AIDS."

He's been busy, busy, busy.

From Flournoy:
A 50-state study [by the pro-abortion Center for Reproductive Rights (sic)] puts Jindal’s Louisiana in second-to-last place for children’s health outcomes.
Under Jindal’s tenure as governor, Louisiana has had some of the highest rates of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis and HIV/AIDS in the nation. Teen pregnancy and teen birth rates remain stubbornly high. While abortion rates have decreased around the country, they have increased in Louisiana.
Jindal’s administration has repeatedly blocked legislation that would call for mandatory, age-appropriate, medically accurate sexual-health education in schools. Last year Jindal banned Planned Parenthood from providing sex education in Louisiana public schools.
And now Jindal wants to cut health care options in Louisiana even more.
Jindal is attempting to end the Medicaid contract with Planned Parenthood. Politicians in Arizona, Indiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee have tried and failed to exclude Planned Parenthood from public health programs like Medicaid. Last week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reminded Jindal that it’s a violation of federal law to prevent Medicaid patients from obtaining services, including family planning services, from any qualified provider.
This begs the question of just what the medical industry was doing with all the taxpayer loot Democrats gave them over the years. They could have finished 49th in "children’s health outcomes" without giving billions over the years to socialist groups and tax-exempt health organizations.

If venereal disease is rampant in Louisiana then the decades of "safe sex" pushed by socialists have failed and failed miserably.

VD rates were lower when we preached abstinence.

Abandoning abstinence is killing children. Both in the womb and outside.

  1. Nothing SHE's done could have had a positive or negative effect on those outcomes, no way, no how.

And how is it that he's blocked legislation that previous Dem governors did not advance?

  2. If that is a picture of the woman in question I'm pretty sure she is not part of the problem with sexual disease transmission.
