Yes, Gore said: "I took the initiative creating the Internet"

In researching a profile for my Exceptional Americans series, I came upon another liberal lie that Democrat Al Gore never said he created the Internet. Wrong. On March 9, 1999, Gore told Wolf Blitzer of CNN: "I took the initiative creating the Internet."

The forerunners of the Internet pre-dated Al Gore's political career. Quit lying.

  1. Don, save gore for your next book "Asseptional Americans."

  2. Now, though, he tells us not to drive cars and "live simply, so others may live" and he drives and is driven in big cars, jet planes, and lives in big houses.

  3. He also claimed that his daddy voted for the Civil Rights Act. Wrong! Al Gore Sr. voted against it as did most southern Dimocrats. It took Republicans to get it passed. The Dimocrats pulled off the biggest con of the last half of the 20th Century on blacks and they fell for it. LBJ was right.

  4. Don't forget his Mama singing him to sleep with "Look for the Union Label."
