After reading former Republican Congressman Allen B. West's column on Democratic Secretary of State John Kerry's relations with Iranians, teh only question about Kerry's patriotism is whether it is to teh land he was born in or teh one his son-in-law's parents hail from.
His daughter married an Iranian-American and of course, White House Chief of Staff Valerie Jarrett is Iranian-American. It gets more interesting.
From Allen B. West:
Gee, do you think Secretary Kerry should have recused himself from the negotiations with Iran at the very outset because of his long-standing relationship to his Iranian counter-part, Mohammad Javad Zarif? Let me explain.
Zarif is the current minister of foreign affairs in the Rouhani administration and has held various significant diplomatic and cabinet posts since the 1990s. He was Kerry’s chief counterpart in the nuclear deal negotiations.
Secretary Kerry and Zarif first met over a decade ago at a dinner party hosted by George Soros at his Manhattan penthouse. What a surprise. I have to say, connecting the dots gets more and more frightening.
But it gets even worse. Guess who was the best man at the 2009 wedding between Kerry’s daughter Vanessa and Behrouz Vala Nahed? Javad Zarif’s son.
Does this bother anyone at all?President Obama is pro-Iran. He withdrew troops from Iraq, which allowed Iran to swoop in. He has tried to stop Israel from stopping Iranian backed terrorists.
We keep acting as though patriotism, a strong military and adherence to Judeo-Christian principles does not matter. Obama goes to Kenya to lecture Christians on homosexuality. Let him go to Iran and give that same speech.
New rule: Anyone who demands that you not question his patriotism hates his country. Period.
