Report on 2024 presidential race
On this date in history eight years from today, Hillary Clinton will announce her candidacy for the presidency for the third time, in her attempt to succeed President Rubio, who is term-limited. Rupert Murdoch, Warren Buffett and the entire staff of CNN immediately predicted she would win big, just as they did in 2007 and 2015.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News Anchor Chelsea Clinton, Missus Clinton said she was running to end discrimination against women, people of color, and robots.
"Time is of the essence," she said. "Every six minutes, 360 seconds are killed. Think about it."
To which ABC News Anchor Chelsea Clinton said, "Oh Mom, you are so insightful. You're my big hero. Well, after Dad."
Missus Clinton said that with the demise of the Islamic State, the regime change in Iran, and the death of Vladimir Putin "we don't need that silly and expensive military anymore."
She also wants to regulate carbon dioxide emissions even though scientists have proven beyond any doubt that carbon dioxide is a nutrient for plants that is actually essential to the existence of life on this planet.
The Democratic candidate said, "Yes, I know it is not a pollutant, but people think it is a pollutant and their unfounded fears are enough to force us to regulate carbon dioxide."
Clinton, who will be 84 should she survive two terms, said of he age "what difference does it make?"
She said reports that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, raped and killed 15 girls in Guatemala is "old news" that the "vast right wing conspiracy" and that the victims are "a little bit unsteady, a little bit deadie." He is claiming diplomatic immunity because his wife was the third woman to be secretary of state.
