Channeling Eleanor Roosevelt

According to National Review, on Saturday, Hillary Clinton will launch her presidential campaign for the fifth or sixth time this year. You get old, you forget did things. To show how hip and with it she is, Hillary plans to channel Eleanor Roosevelt. Yes, connecting with a woman who died 53 years ago at age 76 will really bring in the under 100 vote. Most people think she died in a church and was buried along with her name. Nobody came.

  1. "Nobody came."

Sorry, but if you mean by this that Roosevelt was buried without fanfare and with no one in attendance, that's not correct. Many dignitaries attended her funeral. The way The Atlantic describes it, "her death launched the modern era of A-list tributes and public mourning."

    1. It was a goof on the song Eleanor Rigby, who is more famous than today than Mrs. Roosevelt.

    2. A good goof, too; I got it.
