Name that party: Child porn edition

The district attorney in San Francisco busted on charges of child pornography the political consultant who made Ed Lee the first Chinese-American mayor of San Francisco. Good luck finding the party affiliation of the accused, Enrique Pearce, in the news reports out of the Bay area do not include his party affiliation.

Hint: His clients include Congresswoman Barbara Lee, former chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus and former co-chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

The San Francisco Chronicle had no problem describing the graphic nature of some of the 4,902 images of children from infancy to age 12 that prosecutors say Enrique Pearce possessed.

From the San Francisco Chronicle:
“Babies as young as infants in onesies were being sodomized by adults,” Deputy District Attorney Alexis Fasteau said in requesting that Pearce’s bail be raised to $400,000. “There were children tied up and sexually abused.”
Pearce’s phone also included 115 images of unknowing children “in his preferred age range of 8 to 12” taken at spots throughout the city, “including on the steps of City Hall,” Fasteau said.
But to admit in print that Pearce is a Democrat? Nevah!

The newspaper did hint that he's gay:
Pearce had been under investigation since a man reported an online chat in which someone using the screen name “redentice” said the idea of “sharing a boy with another man is really hot.”
Pearce had 4,902 images on one of his laptop computers, including more than 600 of minors engaged in sexual conduct, more than 10 featuring “prepubescent minors” under the age of 12 and many showing men inflicting pain on children, Fasteau said.
Search warrant information released Wednesday detailed the investigation into Pearce, including disturbing details of the pornography allegedly recovered from his computers.
According to police Sgt. Candiece Lewis of the police special victims unit, a man walked into Central Police Station on Feb. 7 and told them about online chats he had in which he was asked “do you perv?” and if he was “lookin to explore 8-12.” He also was sent a pair of pictures, one of a boy around age 7 lying naked on a field of grass and the other of two boys, each about 12, lying on a bed with one fondling the other’s genitals.
Some of the other local news outlets also neglected to name his party.

I am not saying that every gay man or every Democrat "pervs," to use the vernacular.

I am saying that when they are caught, the media hides it.
