Tweet of the day

  1. Cowards and traitors did 'er in.

  2. The important lesson of the Obama presidency is that the Constitution of the US has a huge structural defect, offering scarce protection against a popular president who is intent on ignoring the rule of law and seizing power beyond what the Founders could ever have anticipated. If Congress is not inclined or is too cowardly to exercise the ultimate penalty of impeachment, the president can dictate just about anything he wants. Abraham Lincoln did so in the name of good, to save the Union. Obama has shown it can be done in the name of evil. The Founding Fathers presumed our leaders would love our country. They could never have imagined we would elect a leader who despises it.
