RFK Jr. ramps up his anti-vaccine lunacy

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., environmental lawyer, has gone full Jenny McCarthy on vaccinations, telling a crowd in Sacramento on Wednesday: “They get the shot, that night they have a fever of a hundred and three, they go to sleep, and three months later their brain is gone. This is a holocaust, what this is doing to our country.”

He's entered "The Twilight Zone."

But hey, it is also ridiculous to claim that a 25 percent increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels is causing temperatures to spiral out of control -- and look how many fools fall for it.

Kennedy is one of the leading environmentalists who opposes a wide-range of human activity, often decrying people who make profits from coal-mining and the like. His income comes from a trust fund established to take advantage of tax loopholes, which allow his long gone grandfather to pass along his wealth to great-great grandchildren he never met.

California legislators are debating whether to eliminate parents opting out of vaccinating their children against childhood diseases. This follows the resurgence of measles in recent years after a hoax in The Lancet in 1998 -- long since discredited -- made a false connection between thimerosal and autism.

In 2008, the two leading Democratic Party presidential candidates -- Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton -- called for investigating this link, even as the urban legend was being debunked.

From CBS News: "Even without any link discovered, the ingredient has been removed from nearly all childhood vaccines."

  1. "Kennedy" is synonymous with brain damage. There ain't a one of 'm that's worth his or her weight in paper napkins.

  3. Gotta keep the fear mill ginned-up or these guys have to deal with the fact that they have no purpose in life.

  4. AGW and anti-vaccine have the same roots. They are based on anti-westernism which claims that technology, America and western culture is evil.
It is a back to basic movment currently happening but now fading by the left wing.
Technology is the reason for the west's success and therefore nature is the path back to utopia. What others would call the dark ages.
